Privacy Policy

Katalyst Privacy Policy · Effective Date: July 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Katalyst Alliance LLC (“Katalyst,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and manages data across Katalyst Hub, Katalyst Pay, Katalyst 360, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

1. Scope

This Policy applies to:

  • Business customers and users of Katalyst Hub, Katalyst Pay, and related platform features
  • Use of Katalyst 360, our AI chatbot and messaging assistant that integrates with Meta platforms (including Facebook Messenger, Instagram messaging, and WhatsApp where enabled) and Katalyst Hub CRM
  • Visitors to katalystalliance.com and related Katalyst websites

When a business customer connects Meta assets to Katalyst 360, that customer is typically the controller of end-user message content; Katalyst processes such data to provide the Services on the customer’s behalf, except where we determine purposes independently (for example, security, abuse prevention, and product improvement as described below).

2. Data We Collect

Depending on how the Services are used, we may collect:

  • Account and business information (name, company, contact details, roles)
  • Transaction and payment data related to Katalyst Pay and billing
  • Customer interaction and CRM data stored in Katalyst Hub
  • Device, usage, log, and analytics data
  • Support and communications you send to us

2.1 Katalyst 360 and Meta platform data

When Katalyst 360 is connected to Meta products, we may receive and process:

  • Message content and conversation metadata exchanged with a connected Page, Instagram account, or WhatsApp Business account
  • Meta identifiers (such as Page IDs, Instagram account IDs, WhatsApp Business account IDs, and platform user identifiers / PSIDs)
  • Profile information Meta makes available through authorized APIs (for example, display name or profile picture, where permitted)
  • Webhook events, delivery status, and technical logs needed to operate messaging
  • Configuration data chosen by the business customer (routing rules, AI prompts, handoff settings, and CRM mappings)

We access Meta data only as authorized by the business customer through Meta’s permission and connection flows, and only for the purposes described in this Policy and our agreements with that customer.

3. How We Use Data

We use data to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Services
  • Provide CRM, payments, analytics, and reporting features
  • Power Katalyst 360 AI responses, intent detection, conversation routing, and human handoff
  • Sync relevant conversations, leads, and contacts into Katalyst Hub for the business customer
  • Detect fraud, spam, abuse, and security incidents
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms
  • Communicate about the Services, including support and product updates

AI features may process conversation content to generate replies and suggestions. Business customers are responsible for configuring Katalyst 360 appropriately for their industry and for reviewing automated outputs where required.

4. Data Ownership & Rights

  • You retain ownership of your raw submitted business data
  • Katalyst retains ownership of platform infrastructure, system-generated outputs, aggregated, anonymized, and enriched datasets, and derived insights, analytics models, and enhancements
  • By using the platform, you grant Katalyst a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and analyze data as needed to provide, secure, and improve the Services, including AI features, subject to this Policy and applicable agreements

5. Data Sharing

We may share data with:

  • Payment processors and financial partners
  • Service providers supporting platform functionality (for example hosting, email, monitoring, and AI infrastructure), under contractual confidentiality and security obligations
  • Meta Platforms, Inc. and its affiliates, as required to operate connected messaging channels (Meta also processes data under its own terms and policies)
  • The business customer that operates the connected Katalyst Hub / Katalyst 360 workspace, when you message that business
  • Legal authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security

We do not sell personal information. We do not use Meta user data to train generalized AI models for unrelated third parties.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain data as long as necessary to:

  • Provide and support the Services for the business customer
  • Comply with legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations
  • Resolve disputes and enforce agreements
  • Improve platform functionality, including security and abuse prevention

Message and Meta-related records associated with Katalyst 360 are retained according to the business customer’s workspace settings and our operational retention schedules, unless a valid deletion request or legal obligation requires otherwise.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction and role (business customer, workspace user, or end user messaging a business), you may:

  • Request access to your personal data
  • Request correction or deletion (subject to legal and operational requirements)
  • Object to or restrict certain processing where applicable law provides that right

End users who messaged a business through Meta should typically contact that business first. You may also follow our Data Deletion Instructions for Katalyst 360 / Meta-related data held by Katalyst.

9. Cookies & Tracking

Our websites may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

10. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. International Transfers

We may process and store data in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

12. Changes to Policy

We may update this Policy at any time. The Effective Date above will be revised when material changes are made. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
